Combourg castle
This is where Chateaubriand spent part of his youth, as he recounts in his Memoirs from Beyond the Grave. The medieval castle and its park overlook the town, just a few minutes from Villa Marie. Saint-Malo and the Emerald Coast
About 40 minutes away, the corsair city awaits: a walk around the ramparts, the narrow streets of the old town, wide beaches and sunsets over the sea. Make the most of it to discover Dinard and its Belle Époque villas, or Cancale and its famous oysters, enjoyed facing the bay.

Close by, on the road to Rennes, Hédé-Bazouges is a village full of character, with its castle ruins and the famous flight of locks on the Ille-et-Rance canal. The towpaths are perfect for peaceful walks or bike rides.
